Classic Car Hood Ornaments – We’ve Got a Few
It is said that the first “hood ornament” or “Bonnet Mascot” was a Sun-crested Falcon mounted to Tutankhamen’s Chariot! In more modern times we still celebrate images of birds, fish, fanciful humans, geometric designs, brand manufacturers and more. Here at the Martin Auto Museum & Event Center we have numerous examples of each!

The Kentucky Colonel – 1965 Dodge Coronet Hemi
The wait is over! One of the really neat additions to the museum is a 1965 Dodge Coronet a/fx Hemi car affectionately known as the “The Kentucky Colonel.” This amazing race car has been restored to its original livery as raced in the 1960s. It is a must see for an Drag Car Dan or Mopar person.

A Little Studebaker History
Studebaker entered the automotive business in 1902 with electric vehicles and in 1904 with gasoline vehicles, all sold under the name “Studebaker Automobile Company”. Until 1911, its automotive division operated in partnership with the Garford Company of Elyria, Ohio, and after 1909 with the E-M-F Company and with the Flanders Automobile Company.

Martin Auto Museum Featured on Local Fox News
Our auto museum was recently featured on the Fox Morning Show as a place to visit on Father’s day. General Manager, Joe Bridgewater, takes Fox 10’s Danielle Miller on a tour or the museum which featured some of the best automobiles in the collection.
